The Nautilus package contains the GNOME file manager.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.10 platform.

Install Nautilus by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr \
--sysconfdir=/etc \
--disable-selinux \
--disable-tracker \
--disable-packagekit &&
make
This package does not come with a test suite.
Now, as the root user:
make install
--disable-selinux: This
switch disables the use of selinux which isn't supported by BLFS.
--disable-packagekit: This
switch disables the use of PackageKit which isn't suitable for
BLFS.
--disable-tracker: This
switch disables the use of Tracker
which isn't part of BLFS.
--enable-gtk-doc: Use this parameter if
GTK-Doc is installed and you wish
to rebuild and install the API documentation.
--disable-xmp: Use this switch if you
did not install Exempi.
--disable-libexif: Use this switch if
you did not install libexif.
